Integrative and Traditional Astrology

We present on this site the results of our research on the links between the constitutional typology as presented in traditional medicines (Chinese, Ayurvedic, Hippocratic) and astrology. In particular we found that what the elders called The Almuten figuris, the highest figure, or more modern, the planetary dominant is statistically correlated with the constitutional type of the individual.

The ancient astrologers of the Greek and medieval tradition all accorded a major importance to the Almuten. We entered astrology through the constitutional typology and we were able to establish this link (between dominant and type) because we already have a method of decoding the type independent of astrology. Our method of calculating the Almuten is a complex algorithm which is inspired in part by the ancient authors (it takes into account the zodiacal position and in the House of the Sun, of the Moon, the Ascendant, the Mc, the Pars fortuna, the Sygyzie, the planets, etc…).

Our research which is the result of the Model of Systemic Typology  allowed us to revise the whole astrological model by integrating two nano-planets (Haumea and Makemake, which we have renamed Proserpine and Bacchus) which carries our system to twelve planets. With regard to the infra saturnians planets, we keep the traditional system (the 7 planets visible in geocentric) and therefore we do not take into account the asteroids type Ceres, not that they are not interesting in the absolute, but we chose to take as a starting basis the system of traditional Greek astrology.

Thus we were able rationally and logically to place the trans Saturnians planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Proserpine and Bacchus) in Rulerships, Exaltations, Triplicities, Decans, Terms and Degrees.

We then validated our hypothesis by confronting it with our very thorough knowledge of the typology.

This new astrological model will probably shake up ideas that are already well accepted as the domicile of Uranus in Aquarius.

We published a first article published in the number 199 of the magazine The Astrologer (September 2017) where we throw the basics of this model (Order this number).
